McLaren Racing is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant in Woking to support accurate and timely invoice processing, including foreign currency transactions. You’ll collaborate across teams to resolve supplier queries, prepare regular payment runs and assist with month-end accruals and journal entries.

The role emphasises strong communication, analytical thinking and meticulous attention to detail, with Proficient IT skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint expected.

Responsabilités

• Process invoices and credit notes accurately in GBP and foreign currencies with correct coding.
• Set up new suppliers and send bank details for verification.
• Reconcile Purchase Ledger accounts against supplier statements and payments.
• Resolve queries with the Purchasing Team on price and quantity variances.
• Prepare bi-weekly payment runs for review and approval.
• Manage the shared mailbox ensuring timely responses.
• Support improvements to end-to-end Purchase Ledger processes.
• Assist with month-end activities including journal entries and accruals.
