Job summary

PHMG Careers is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager in Old Trafford, Manchester. You will lead the end-to-end AP function, drive process improvements and automation while maintaining strong internal controls and tight supplier governance.

You'll coach the AP team, collaborate with Management Accounts, FP&A and Operations, and support month-end, year-end closes and audits. Strong Excel, multi-currency experience, and ERP proficiency (Navision desirable) are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven ERP experience, Navision desirable.
• Experience in multi-currency, multi-ledger AP environment.
• Experience leading AP team.
• Strong AP, internal controls and cash flow knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable, ensure invoices and payments processed on time.
• Lead AP team with coaching for high performance.
• Manage PO system (Precoro) onboarding suppliers and workflows.
• Support month-end/year-end close and audits.
• Collaborate with Management Accounts, FP&A, and Operations to resolve issues.
• Reconcile supplier statements and respond to queries.
