Job summary

PHMG is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead and optimise the AP function at our Old Trafford site. You will drive process improvements, maintain strong controls and coach the AP team in a high-performance environment.

The role requires ERP experience (Navision preferred), multi-currency AP handling, and effective stakeholder management across finance and operations. You will manage Precoro, bank reconciliations, and support month-end processes while upholding robust financial controls.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in ERP-enabled Accounts Payable environments.
• Experience leading and coaching an AP team.
• Strong analytical approach to reconcile complex supplier ledgers.

Responsibilities

• Regularly review aged creditors; ensure payments within terms.
• Reconcile supplier statements; resolve discrepancies and respond to queries.
• Identify improvements to AP processes; drive automation and efficiency.
• Oversee end-to-end AP functions; support supplier payments and payroll runs as needed.
• Manage Precoro; onboard suppliers and administer approvals workflows.
• Collaborate with Management Accounts, FP&A and Operations to resolve issues.
