Howett-Thorpe Recruitment Consultants Limited in Farnham is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead a six-person AP team within a reputable finance function. The role offers hybrid working with 3 days in the office and a strong benefits package.

You will manage the end-to-end purchase ledger, maintain controls, support month-end and year-end processes, and drive process improvements while building strong supplier relationships and ensuring timely invoice processing.

Competenze

• Experience leading and developing a team of finance professionals.
• Strong IT or ERP system skills and ability to work with accounting software.

Mansioni

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of six Accounts Payable professionals.
• Oversee end-to-end purchase ledger processing to ensure invoices are accurate and timely.
• Manage supplier relationships and resolve queries and account issues.
• Plan workloads, priorities and deadlines across the team.
• Maintain accounts payable controls, policies and procedures.
• Ensure month-end requirements are completed, including reconciliations and accruals.
• Support year-end audit requirements and provide information as required.
• Prepare accounts payable management information and KPIs.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure compliance with processes.
• Lead process improvements, system enhancements and automation initiatives.
