Job summary

Resourcery Group Limited is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk in Liverpool to join a busy finance team. The role focuses on processing high volumes of invoices, resolving queries, and supporting the purchase ledger to ensure timely supplier payments.

The ideal candidate will have a background in accounts payable, knowledge of PO and non-PO invoices, and strong attention to detail. Hybrid working and a supportive finance environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume accounts payable or purchase ledger processing.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Processing high volumes of PO and non-PO invoices with accuracy and approvals.
• Reviewing invoices and supporting documentation prior to payment.
• Liaising with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and approvals.
• Building relationships with suppliers and handling queries and payment issues.
• Reconciling supplier statements and correcting discrepancies.
• Monitoring aged items and recovering outstanding balances.
• Supporting improvements to invoice processing and payment performance.
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls including SOX requirements.
