Job summary

A premium wellness studio is seeking a proactive Accounts / Admin Assistant to manage daily accounts and provide administrative support. Responsibilities include processing sales, managing invoices, and maintaining employee records. Candidates should have essential accounting/bookkeeping experience and familiarity with Xero. This position offers a varied role within a newly established company focused on total-body well-being in Stoke-on-Trent.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in accounting/bookkeeping is essential for the role.
  • Experience using Xero or similar accounting software is preferred.
  • Strong administration skills and attention to detail are required.

Responsibilities

  • Processing daily sales for both areas of the business.
  • Purchase invoice processing.
  • Sales and purchase ledger reconciliation.
  • Bank and cash reconciliation.
  • Preparing payments for authorisation and processing.
  • Posting of monthly journals.
  • Cashflow monitoring.
  • Processing payroll.
  • Maintenance of employee records.
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns.

Working for a company that is a premium wellness studio located in Stoke-on-Trent, where mindful movement meets modern design and total-body well-being. Along with this you will be providing support to their sister company, who are niche manufacturers. This is a varied role that will involve accounting and administrative duties.

Job Description

As the Accounts / Admin Assistant you will be responsible for dealing with the day to day accounts and also providing administrative support

  • Processing daily sales for both areas of the business
  • Purchase invoice processing
  • Sales and purchase ledger reconciliation
  • Bank and cash reconciliation
  • Preparing payments for authorisation and processing
  • Posting of monthly journals
  • Cashflow monitoring
  • Processing payroll
  • Maintenance of employee records
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns

Full administration support For the role, it would be good to see candidates with :

  • Previous experience in accounting / bookkeeping is essential for the role
  • Experience using Xero or similar accounting software

Hours

Monday – Thursday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
