We’re hiring for an Accounts Assistant to join a growing business in Glossop.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys getting stuck into bookkeeping, payroll support, and day-to-day accounts work.

What will you be doing as an Accounts Assistant?
  • Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts
  • Completing bookkeeping and data entry using accounting software
  • Supporting monthly payroll processes and helping ensure HMRC compliance
  • Maintaining accurate financial records, receipts, and client files
  • Liaising with clients to gather information, chase documents, and resolve queries
  • Helping with VAT returns, expenses, basic tax tasks, and general accounts admin
What do you need?
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Bookkeeping experience
  • Payroll experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Confident using accounting software
