Job summary

Trial Balance is seeking an Accounts Administrator in Exeter to join a small, friendly finance team. The role covers daily financial reporting, reconciliations, credit control support, and general office administration, with training provided where needed.

The successful candidate will manage workload across several systems, gain exposure to ledgers, month-end routines, and customer/supplier communication, and thrive in a structured, detail-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative or finance support roles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and MS Office skills (Excel in particular).

Responsibilities

• Run daily financial reports and check data accuracy.
• Reconcile daily sales and process through Sage.
• Support credit control with debt collection and payment allocation.
• Month-end sales-ledger reconciliation and customer statements.
• Assist purchase ledger with supplier invoices.
• Maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
• General office administration including calls, emails and correspondence.
• Support management with wider office functions.
