Trial Balance is recruiting an Accounts Administrator for the head office in St. Austell. This permanent, full-time role offers a salary of £25-£27k and sits within a busy finance team.

The successful candidate will handle accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, maintain supplier and customer records, chase overdue debts, and support general administration as needed. Training is provided for the right aptitude.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of experience in a similar accounts/admin role.
• Good understanding of accounts payable and receivable.
• Willing to be trained in other office administration tasks.

Responsibilities

• Administer accounts payable: post invoices and reconcile supplier accounts.
• Set up and maintain supplier accounts; first line for supplier enquiries.
• Process supplier payment runs.
• Administer accounts receivable: raise customer invoices and credit notes.
• Reconcile sales ledger; monitor aged debt; chase overdue payments.
• Allocate goods to dispatch and handle incoming calls/emails.
• Support wider office team during busy periods.
