Trial Balance Consulting has partnered with a growing specialist services business near Redruth to recruit an Accounts Administrator for a full-time, permanent, office-based role at their HQ. Working with the Finance Manager, you will handle a broad range of supplier and client invoicing, reconciliations, and cash control in a busy finance team.

This role emphasizes aptitude and organisational ability over formal qualifications.

Qualifications

• Strong general aptitude and organisational skills.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, including pivot tables and formulas.
• Experience with Xero is advantageous but not essential.
• Outgoing and communicative with a desire to progress.

Responsibilities

• Accounts payable: raise PO's, upload invoices, reconcile statements, supplier payments.
• Accounts receivable: create/send client invoices, monitor aged debtor.
• Client credit referencing.
• Monitor aged debt book.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Act as initial contact for finance enquiries.
• Petty cash management.
• Maintain company databases and digital accounting systems.
