Job summary

Trial Balance Consulting Ltd. in St. Austell is seeking a permanent, full-time Accounts Administrator to support the finance team and deliver essential administration duties. The role includes AP/AR processing, supplier liaison, invoicing and reconciliations in a busy environment.

The ideal candidate has 6–12 months of relevant experience and a good grasp of accounting systems; AAT progress or equivalent experience is welcomed, with training provided.

Qualifications

• At least 6–12 months of recent experience in a similar environment.
• Good understanding of accounts payable and receivable.
• Willing to be trained in general administration.
• Strong IT and digital accounting systems proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Administer accounts payable: posting invoices, reconciling supplier accounts.
• Set up and maintain supplier accounts; handle supplier enquiries.
• Process supplier payment runs.
• Administer accounts receivable: raising invoices, credit notes, ledger reconciliation.
• Monitor aged debt and chase overdue payments.
• Allocate goods to dispatch.
• Handle incoming calls and general mailboxes.
• Assist wider office team during busy periods.
