Job summary

Qualifications

• A degree in Accountancy or a related subject.
• At least 6 months’ customer service experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements and double-entry bookkeeping.
• An understanding of UK tax and self-assessment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• An interest in software and technology.

Responsibilities

• Providing second-line support to accountancy customers via telephone and email.
• Acting as a subject matter expert on accounting and the company’s software.
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.
• Helping develop training materials, guides and customer resources.
• Working with internal teams on product improvements, testing and system updates.
• Monitoring support performance and helping improve the overall customer experience.
