We are searching for an experienced Accounting and Financial Reporting Assistant Manager to join RSM's consulting team. Our consulting practice integrates teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing, providing client-centric solutions for RSM’s middle-market clients. The team plays a vital role in driving firm growth, with over 1,700 professionals generating nearly £200m in revenue.
The core solutions offered include business transformation, deal services, finance function support, risk and governance, forensic and investigation services, and restructuring. These tailored solutions help clients achieve strategic goals and empower our staff to develop unique career paths.
Overall job purpose
You will be a key member of the growing financial reporting advisory team, primarily supporting clients in the London and Southern regions. As an assistant manager, you will assist in delivering projects related to technical accounting, financial reporting, and consolidations, including application of standards under FRS 102, IFRS, and FRS 101, group reconstructions, conversions between GAAPs, and acquisition accounting. You will also prepare and manage statutory accounts under IFRS and FRS 101.
This role offers opportunities to develop skills in business development and coaching, work with diverse colleagues and businesses across the UK, and support your local office. A strong understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS is essential, along with excellent report writing skills for high-quality advisory reports.
