Our Client

is a fast-growing, niche specialist developer and fund/asset manager focusing on the alternative residential sector, with active platforms in those markets. They are looking to deploy more capital and scale their assets further. Due to continued growth, they have created a new role for a Fund Finance Associate to cover all aspects relating to investment, divestment, business planning, and asset/portfolio management, including the platforms they manage on behalf of investors. The role will work closely with the CFO and requires the ability to work independently and remotely, taking responsibility for managing one's own workload.

Fund Finance Associate Role Responsibilities

1. Financial modelling at fund level.
2. Tracking development and capex costs with the Development Team.
3. Modelling investor distributions and liquidity management for SPVs across the portfolios.
4. Engaging with external service providers.
5. Preparing return forecasts for proposed investments and supporting the Partners in presenting this information.
6. Designing, producing, amending, and updating complex financial models, IRR, etc., for transactions and business planning.
7. Running scenario analyses on the models and producing summaries to enable decision-making.
8. Collaborating with operational colleagues on future rent setting and OPEX models.
9. Taking a data leadership role in the finance function across asset and property management businesses, focusing on data accuracy, continuous innovation, and creating bespoke reports using technology to automate processes where possible.

Person Qualifications and Skills Requirements

• Qualified accountant with ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Prior real estate knowledge or experience is preferable.
• Ability to design and develop large-scale data models from scratch.
• Strong data modelling and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Word and advanced Excel, with knowledge of Power BI.
• Good report writing and presentation skills.
• Experience managing multiple reports and trackers to support key personnel.
