Job summary

VANRATH in Belfast city centre seeks a Qualified Accountant with 3-5 years PQE for a 12-month contract. You will maintain accounting and financial operations and support the wider finance team.

The role offers £50,000-£60,000 per year, hybrid working, plus CPD opportunities, and potential permanent position.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with 3-5 years of industry experience.
• Strong background in finance operations and shared services (beneficial).
• Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior leaders.
• Skilled in operational efficiency and financial accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the monthly management reports.
• Assist with the timely and accurate preparation of audited financial statements and coordinate the financial audit process.
• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and support annual budgeting processes.
• Manage accounts payable, intercompany invoicing, and payment activities.
• Lead month-end closing processes and oversee banking relationships and cash flow management.
