Fresh Perspective Resourcing Limited is seeking an experienced Accountant to join a growing practice in the Stoke-on-Trent area. You will manage year-end accounts, corporation and personal tax returns while maintaining client relationships.

With 2 years’ experience or a readiness to step up, you’ll handle bookkeeping review, VAT/CIS submissions, and payroll for a subset of clients, supported by an ambitious, collaborative team in a friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Year-end accounts preparation incl. corporation and personal tax
• Bookkeeping assistance and reviewing junior staff work
• VAT and CIS returns submission
• Payroll processing for some clients
• Proactive client contact via email and phone

As an Accountant, your roles and responsibilities will include…

• Preparing year-end accounts and corporation and personal tax returns
• Helping with bookkeeping, including reviewing the accounts junior's work
• Submitting VAT returns and prepare and submit CIS returns
• Processing payroll for some clients
• Proactively contacting clients by email and phone

We’re looking for an Accountant, with the following skills and experience…

• Ideally part-qualified ACCA or ACA, with study support provided
• AAT qualified and qualified by experience is accepted
• Around 2 years' experience, or an ambitious account assistant ready to step up
• UK practice experience is highly desirable
• Positive, proactive, friendly & engaging
• CIS and payroll experience is desirable
• Construction sector experience is desirable
