Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA qualified, or close to qualification.
• Solid UK accountancy practice experience with a varied client portfolio.
• Experience with Xero, Sage, CaseWare, and CCH is a bonus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong Excel skills and quick to learn new software.
• Positive, proactive attitude and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors, acting as their main point of contact
• Preparing statutory accounts and finalising accounts under the supervision of your Line Manager
• Preparing corporation tax computations
• Supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members, providing support and training
• Spotting opportunities to improve processes and add real value for clients
• Keeping your technical knowledge sharp and up to date
• Building strong relationships across the firm and with clients
• Getting involved in pricing and new client quotes
• Continuing to develop through hands on training and support
