In addition to our manufacturing division we operate a fleet of digital jukeboxes and back ground music systems throughout the UK hospitality sector and also act as the main distributor for a range of children's commercial distraction products that are installed into the NHS, hospitality, retail outlets etc

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at Sound Leisure Ltd. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial tasks and processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. This role is located in Leeds.

·Managing the finance department and additional member of staff (AAT qualified who requires coaching)

·Manage all accounting transactions.

·Publishing timely financial statements

·Reconcile month end.

·Reconcile accounts payable and receivables.

·Ensure timely bank payments.

·Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.

·Manage balance sheets and profit and loss statements.

·Prepare management accounts for internal and external parties.

·Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.

·Audit financial transactions and documents.

·Comply with financial policies and regulations.

·Reconcile monthly payroll.

·Prepare forecasts for annual business insurance renewal.

·Year-end accounts preparation and liaising with the auditors.

Qualifications

· Professionally qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) or qualified by experience

· Problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.

·Attention to details and ability to meet tight deadlines.

· A team player who is able to work on own initiative and as part of a team .

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and e xperience working with Microsoft BC365 is advantageous
• Financial Reporting and Analysis skills
• Experience with Budgeting and Forecasting
