Job summary

SI Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior for a growing practice in Holmfirth/Huddersfield. You will handle a diverse portfolio, focusing on client service, year-end accounts and tax support while mentoring juniors.

The role offers progression, study support and flexible hours with an early finish on Fridays. AAT/ACA/ACCA qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' accountancy practice experience.
• AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Strong experience preparing year-end accounts.
• Confident and professional when dealing with clients.
• Friendly, proactive and commercially minded.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Experience with IRIS, Sage, Xero or QuickBooks would be advantageous.
• GCSE English and Maths at Grade 5 or above.

Accounts Senior

Location: Holmfirth / Huddersfield

Salary: £35,000–£40,000 DOEA growing accountancy practice is looking for an experienced Accounts Senior to join its team. This is a varied role with a strong focus on client service, career development and progression.

The Role

You’ll work with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing support across accounts, tax and general accounting services. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing year-end statutory accounts
• Preparing corporation and personal tax returns
• Bookkeeping and VAT returns
• Supporting and training junior team members
• Assisting with ad hoc accounting and client projects

About You
