Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking an Accounts Senior to join a respected chartered accounts firm in Loughton, Essex. You will prepare statutory accounts for owner-managed businesses, charities, partnerships and corporate clients, and mentor junior staff in a supportive team environment.

Ideal candidates hold AAT/ACCA/ACA or QBE, have practice experience and strong technical accounting knowledge, with excellent communication and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Qualifications

• Qualified in AAT/ACCA/ACA or QBE.
• Previous accountancy practice experience.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for a varied client portfolio.
• Prepare and review VAT returns, bookkeeping and management accounts.
• Review work and ensure assignments are completed accurately and on time.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
• Liaise with clients, managers and tax specialists.
• Identify opportunities to add value and support client growth.

The Role

• Prepare statutory accounts for a varied client portfolio
• Prepare and review VAT returns, bookkeeping and management accounts

About You
