Job summary

Haughey Recruitment is seeking an Account Manager to develop key customer relationships and drive sales growth across the Northern Ireland region. You will support branch performance and manage supplier relationships while engaging with professional customers and contractors.

The role requires strong communication, relationship-building and a self-motivated attitude in a fast-paced wholesale environment. A full UK driving licence is essential for field duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in wholesale or distribution is advantageous but not essential.
• Electrical industry knowledge or background preferred.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing and developing relationships with key accounts within the territory.
• Identifying and securing new business opportunities.
• Working closely with internal sales teams to maximise branch performance.
• Managing purchasing requirements and supplier relationships.
• Attending industry events and trade exhibitions.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries and support.
