This long-established horticultural supplier is entering an exciting new phase of growth and looking to expand its sales team with two new Account Managers. With strategic expansion plans, this is a brilliant opportunity to step into a stable, high-impact role.
Based full-time at their North Yorkshire office, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of B2B clients - with the potential to manage over £1.5-£2 million in sales revenue.
The Role
Working alongside a dynamic, friendly sales team, you'll manage and grow a defined client portfolio made up of landscape contractors and SMEs. With support from experienced estimating and operational colleagues, you'll be the key contact for project-specific plant supply - balancing service, delivery, and commercial success.
This is a structured, office-based role with the chance to take ownership of your accounts while contributing to the overall evolution of the sales function.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Manage and nurture a portfolio of B2B clients (circa 100 accounts)
Build strong, long-term client relationships to drive loyalty and repeat business
Collaborate with estimating and support teams to deliver accurate, timely quotes
Ensure profitability and growth through proactive planning and margin awareness
Embrace new sales systems and AI-enabled quoting tools (in development)
Report to the Sales Director, with scope to grow into a Sales Manager role
Help raise standards and professionalism across the department
About You
You're a strong communicator with a passion for delivering value to customers and growing commercial accounts. You thrive in a structured, team-oriented environment and want to make a long-term impact.
You'll have:
B2B sales and account management experience
Excellent client-facing and relationship-building skills
A professional and dependable approach
Confidence working full-time from a central office location
Great organisational and communication skills
Even better if you have:
Experience in horticulture, landscaping, agriculture, or similar seasonal sectors
Exposure to sales portfolios worth £1 million+
Experience managing both major and SME clients
