Job summary

SIG Insulation & Drylining is seeking a proactive Internal Sales Executive to support our sales strategy by managing existing accounts, developing new business opportunities and delivering excellent customer service from our Oxford branch.

You will engage with customers by phone and in person, process orders via our CRM, provide quotes, and maximise add-on sales while collaborating with warehouse and external sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.

Qualifications

• Previous internal sales experience, ideally within construction distribution.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Good numeracy and IT skills, with attention to detail.
• Target-driven and proactive approach to sales.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing customer accounts to maximise sales and profitability.
• Open and develop new accounts with a focus on profitable growth.
• Engage with customers via phone and face-to-face to process orders using our CRM.
• Provide quotes and maximise add-on sales opportunities.
• Proactively contact lapsed and potential new customers to generate sales.
• Work closely with warehouse and external sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
• Support credit control and other internal departments as required.
• Assist on the trade counter when needed.
• Promote the full range of products across the group.
