Job summary

SIG Insulation & Drylining, one of the UK's leading suppliers of specialist building materials, is seeking an Internal Sales Executive to join our Sales Office team in Otley. You will manage existing accounts, develop new business opportunities, and deliver excellent customer service.

You will liaise with customers via phone and face-to-face, process orders using our CRM, provide quotes, and support other internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.

Qualifications

• Previous internal sales experience, ideally within construction distribution.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Good numeracy and IT skills, with attention to detail.
• Target-driven and proactive approach to sales.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing customer accounts to maximise sales and profitability.
• Open and develop new accounts with a focus on profitable growth.
• Engage with customers via phone and face-to-face to process orders accurately using our CRM system.
• Provide quotes and maximise add-on sales opportunities.
• Proactively contact lapsed and potential new customers to generate sales.
• Work closely with warehouse and external sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
• Support credit control and other internal departments as required.
• Assist on the trade counter when needed.
• Promote the full range of products across the group.
