Job summary

SIG Insulation & Drylining, a leading UK supplier of specialist building materials, is hiring an Internal Sales Executive in Leeds. You will manage existing accounts, develop new business, and provide exceptional customer service, reporting to the Sales Office Manager.

The role involves close collaboration with warehouse and external sales teams to ensure accurate order processing and profitable growth. The ideal candidate has internal sales experience, strong communication skills, good numeracy

Qualifications

• Previous internal sales experience, ideally within construction distribution.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Good numeracy and IT skills, with attention to detail.
• Target-driven and proactive approach to sales.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing customer accounts to maximise sales and profitability.
• Open and develop new accounts with a focus on profitable growth.
• Engage with customers via phone and face-to-face to process orders accurately using our CRM system.
• Provide quotes and maximise add-on sales opportunities.
• Proactively contact lapsed and potential new customers to generate sales.
• Work closely with warehouse and external sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
• Support credit control and other internal departments as required.
• Assist on the trade counter when needed.
• Promote the full range of products across the group.

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Internal Sales Executive to join our team. Reporting directly to the Sales Office Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting our sales strategy by managing existing accounts, developing new business opportunities, and providing excellent customer service.
