Job summary

SIG Insulation & Drylining is seeking an Internal Sales Executive to support our sales strategy by managing accounts, developing new business, and delivering excellent customer service. You will report to the Sales Office Manager and work with warehouse and external sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.

The role requires proactive, target-driven individuals with strong communication and IT skills. Experience in construction distribution is preferred, and you will have access to our

• Previous internal sales experience, ideally within construction distribution.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Good numeracy and IT skills, with attention to detail.
• Target-driven and proactive approach to sales.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing customer accounts to maximise sales and profitability.
• Open and develop new accounts with a focus on profitable growth.
• Engage with customers via phone and face-to-face to process orders accurately using our CRM system.
• Provide quotes and maximise add-on sales opportunities.
• Proactively contact lapsed and potential new customers to generate sales.
• Work closely with warehouse and external sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
• Support credit control and other internal departments as required.
• Assist on the trade counter when needed.
• Promote the full range of products across the group.

Internal Sales Executive
