Job summary

Acorn by Synergie in Newton Abbot is recruiting for a B2C Customer Account Manager to develop and manage client accounts, build relationships and identify opportunities for growth. You will handle queries, support cross-selling and work with the team to meet business objectives.

The role is permanent, Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm, with one Saturday in four from home, offering career progression and the potential to gain an on-the-job degree.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in account management, sales, retail management, hospitality management or customer care.
• Experience winning new business and developing B2B relationships.
• Customer-focused approach with a strong commercial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with new and existing clients, from sole traders to senior leaders.
• Identify opportunities to develop and grow client accounts.
• Support business growth through cross-selling and upselling.
• Handle client queries professionally and provide effective solutions.
• Work closely with the Manager to achieve business objectives.
• Develop new business through networking, marketing, community engagement and client meetings.
• Take a consultative approach to understand client needs and identify suitable solutions.
• Maintain strong, long-term B2B relationships.
• Monitor market and client activity to identify new opportunities.
