Job summary

Acorn by Synergie in Exeter is seeking an experienced Account Manager to grow client accounts and build strong relationships with a diverse client base. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, cross-selling and delivering excellent customer service.

The position is permanent, with a 8:30am-5pm schedule from Monday to Friday and one Saturday in four from home. Salary ranges £28,000-£32,000 depending on experience, with opportunities for on-the-job degree and career progression.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in account management, sales, retail management, hospitality management or customer care.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with new and existing clients, from sole traders to senior leaders.
• Identify opportunities to develop and grow client accounts.
• Support business growth through cross-selling and upselling.
• Handle client queries professionally and provide effective solutions.
• Work closely with the Manager to achieve business objectives.
• Develop new business through networking, marketing, community engagement and client meetings.
• Take a consultative approach to understand client needs and identify suitable solutions.
• Maintain strong, long-term B2B relationships.
• Monitor market and client activity to identify new opportunities.
