About The Role

We are looking for an entrepreneurial Account Executive to join our B2B team and play a pivotal role in rebooting and driving Blinkist for Business's growth. This role combines hands-on business development with strategic planning and execution. This position requires a blend of sales acumen, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance Blinkist's market presence and product offerings.

Blinkist’s B2B team is in an exciting phase of growth as we reboot our B2B business. Operating since 2020, the B2B portfolio includes a varied global B2B portfolio.

Over the last few years, the B2B team has changed formation. In 2023 we were acquired and integrated our Blinkist B2B team into our parent company - Go1. We are now reverting back to two separate entities, hence rebuilding our team.

We are in a fast paced, hyper growth stage where we have ambitious expansion plans. We are looking for people with hunger, drive and a thirst for high velocity growth as we expand our team.

What You'll Do

  • Go-to-Market Strategy Development:Develop and execute go-to-market and sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Develop and Manage Sales Pipeline: Create and maintain a pipeline of organisational accounts through inbound and outbound activities to consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Relationship Building: Use effective discovery and value-selling techniques to build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers in both new and existing organizational clients.
  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with decision-makers to identify how Blinkist's offerings can solve their business challenges and enhance their team's knowledge and productivity.
  • Product Positioning & Messaging: Craft clear, compelling, and differentiated messaging that emphasises Blinkist's value in knowledge enhancement and personal growth. Collaborate with Product to align positioning with customer needs and competitive insights.
  • Market Analysis and Prioritisation: Conduct thorough analysis to tier and prioritise accounts, ensuring a strategic approach to targeting high-potential opportunities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional partners to position Blinkist effectively and drive deals forward.
  • Networking: Leverage opportunities to advance relationships through in-person meetings, events, and networking opportunities.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in closing sales for a SaaS or digital content business, ideally within an outbound sales function.
  • Industry Expertise: Experience in selling to Learning & Development or Talent Development departments, providing a deeper understanding of how Blinkist's offerings can enhance organizational learning and growth initiatives.
  • Performance Driven: Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding pipeline generation targets for new business.
  • Sales Expertise: Experience managing high-volume sales cycles (1-3 months) and applying a sales methodology that creates value for customers.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential for this role.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business environments and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and buying processes.
  • Self-motivated and Coachable: Eager to learn new skills and adapt to new challenges, with a positive and proactive approach to personal development.
