Role Overview

The business is seeking a high-performing Account Executive (AE) to take ownership of the full sales cycle – from discovery through to close – selling their AML platform into mid-market accounting firms across the UK.

This role is ideal for a consultative, self-motivated sales professional with a track record of success in B2B SaaS. Working closely with the founding and commercial teams, the AE will play a central role in building client relationships, driving revenue growth, and shaping the company’s market position. The role is fully remote and offers a generous commission structure with uncapped earnings potential.

Account Executive – AML SAAS - Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the full 360° sales cycle, from inbound and SDR-qualified leads through to contract close
  • Conduct discovery calls and product demos tailored to the needs of accounting firms
  • Navigate complex buying cycles with senior stakeholders, decision-makers, and compliance teams
  • Build a strong understanding of AML regulation and pain points in the accounting sector
  • Forecast and manage pipeline effectively within the CRM (e.g. HubSpot or Salesforce)
  • Collaborate with SDRs, Marketing, and Product teams to improve positioning and conversion rates
  • Act as a trusted advisor, building long-term relationships with prospective clients

Account Executive – AML SAAS - Skills & Experience Required

  • 2+ years of success in a B2B SaaS Account Executive, Business Development Manager, or similar closing role
  • Experience selling into accounting firms, professional services, or regulated industries is strongly preferred
  • Confident and consultative in managing complex sales cycles with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Highly self-motivated with a proactive, target-driven mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first start-up environment
  • Strong commercial acumen and an interest in compliance, fintech, or accounting tech
