Job Summary

We are recruiting for a remote Account Development Representative on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. The role involves driving Microbial Solutions sales in the UK, Ireland, and Nordics.

This position will enable you to manage the sales process for specific products, services, accounts, and opportunities via phone and email, supporting a Regional Account Manager team. You will also collaborate with the Microbial Solutions Commercial team to meet and exceed sales quotas for your territory.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales in the specified region.
  • Serve as the point of contact for customer inquiries and outbound prospecting.
  • Engage with existing customers and generate sales opportunities.
  • Lead projects such as reactivating dormant accounts, promoting next-generation products, and managing end-of-life campaigns.
  • Establish new customer relationships and grow existing accounts.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customer end-users, management, and purchasing contacts.
  • Support territory opportunities and product lifecycle management.
  • Partner with regional Account Managers to meet sales goals and manage opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on product promotions and provide feedback on ROI.
  • Communicate customer problems and concerns to relevant departments for resolution.
  • Update CRM database with sales opportunities, stages, marketing statuses, and customer data.
  • Provide pricing, create quotes, and support price renewal processes in the region.
  • Handle client communications.

Job Qualifications:

  • Willingness to undertake regular domestic and occasional international travel.
