Ormiston Bushfield Academy is seeking an Academy Operations Administrator starting September 2025. The role entails providing essential administrative and operational support in a vibrant school environment, ideal for individuals who are organized, positive, and embrace change. Applicants should have prior administrative experience and proficient IT skills.
Required for a September 2025 start, we are seeking to appoint an Academy Operations Administrator to provide administrative and operational support in our busy Academy office.
This is an exciting and dynamic role, where every day is different. The role would suit an individual who has a positive attitude and the ability to embrace change. Previous office administration experience is essential as the role includes administration over a number of key areas including trips and music, as well as supporting functions in the main Academy office.
The working pattern for this position is Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:00pm and Friday 8:00am – 3:30pm. You will be working school term time plus one week which equates to 39 working weeks per year.

The Academy
Ormiston Bushfield Academy is a good school (OFSTED – December 2019), conveniently located close to the Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire & Lincolnshire borders, and benefits from excellent road and rail links.
The Academy is continuing to expand and due to its popularity and increasing student numbers, a new £6 million wing was opened in September 2018. This extension is an addition to the £20.6 million state-of-the-art building that was completed September 2012, giving every student the opportunity to learn in an exciting and inspiring environment at an Academy that has been recognised for its high standards of inclusion. The Academy has continued to build on the successes of the last few years and achieved strong results at GCSE & A-Level in the summer.
