Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment seeks an experienced Service Engineer to join a leading HVAC organisation, providing planned and reactive engineering support across the region. Based in Herefordshire, field based.

You will carry out preventative maintenance, fault-finding, repairs, and commissioning of HVAC gear including VRV/VRF, chillers, and split systems. Requires C&G 2079 or NVQ2 and F-Gas, full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• C&G 2079 or NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• F-Gas qualification.
• Strong experience in HVAC/Air Conditioning service and maintenance.
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, repairs and fault finding.
• Commissioning and servicing HVAC and air conditioning equipment.
• Working on VRV, VRF, chillers, split and close control systems.
• Attending reactive call-outs and emergency breakdowns.
• Completing risk assessments and maintaining health and safety standards.
• Identifying additional service opportunities on customer sites.
• Supporting apprentices and junior engineers where required.

Service Engineer - Air Conditioning

Salary: £50,000-£52,000 + Company Van

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Role

About You

• C&G 2079 or NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

• Comfortable working independently across customer sites
• Good communication and customer-facing skills
