Job summary

INDGLO is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to cover Herefordshire with a company van and a salary of £50,000–£52,000. The role involves planning, maintenance, and reactive calls across customer sites, with safety and high-quality service at the core.

You will service HVAC and air conditioning equipment, work on VRV/VRF systems, and support apprentices as needed. A full UK driving licence and relevant qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• HVAC/Air Conditioning service and maintenance experience required.
• F-Gas qualification essential.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities desired.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, repairs, and fault-finding on HVAC systems.
• Commission, service and support VRV/VRF, chillers and split systems.
• Attend reactive call-outs and emergencies; ensure health and safety standards.

Education

C&G 2079 or NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

F-Gas qualification

HVAC service experience

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join a leading HVAC organisation, providing planned and reactive engineering support to customers across the region.

The Role

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, repairs and fault finding
• Commissioning and servicing HVAC and air conditioning equipment
• Working on VRV, VRF, chillers, split and close control systems
• Attending reactive call-outs and emergency breakdowns
• Completing risk assessments and maintaining high standards of health and safety
• Identifying additional service opportunities while on customer sites
• Supporting apprentices and junior engineers where required

About You

• C&G 2079 or NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• F-Gas qualification
• Strong experience in HVAC/Air Conditioning service and maintenance
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Comfortable working independently across customer sites
• Good communication and customer-facing skills
