Job summary

Gi Group Holdings Recruitment Limited is seeking a reliable 7.5 ton driver for ongoing work with a carrier in Maidstone, delivering to residential addresses. You will perform daily vehicle checks, handle loading/unloading, and maintain accurate delivery status with the depot.

Applicants must hold a valid UK Category C1 license, CPC and Tachograph qualifications, with at least 1 year of driving experience. DBS check may be required. Weekly PAYE pay and consistent shifts are on offer.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C1 license (in-date).
• Tachograph and CPC qualifications valid and in date.
• Minimum 1 year driving experience.
• No more than 6 SP points; no BA/CD/CU/DR/IN endorsements.
• DBS check required (possible up to 2 weeks).
• Able to provide 5 years of work/education history for security clearance.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Good customer service and safety-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle checks.

Pay: £ 16.86 / hour including advanced holiday pay, (Weekly Pay, PAYE Only)

Gi Group are looking for reliable and motivated 7.5 ton drivers for ongoing work with a carrier company based in Maidstone. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ongoing role delivering to residential addresses.

7.5T Driver main duties will include:

• Conducting vehicle checks
• Making deliveries/collections each day to customers and depots
• Manual handling is involved while loading and unloading
• Handling device to confirm delivery status and communicate with the depot
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

What You'll Need as a 7.5 ton Driver:

• A valid UK, in-date Category C1 license
• Valid and in date Tachograph and CPC qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of driving experience
• No more than 6 SP penalty points accepted (no BA/CD/CU/DR/IN endorsements)
• Able to provide 5 years of work / education history for security clearance
• DBS check required (can be provided but may take up to two weeks)
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Good customer service skills and a safety-focused approach
