Job summary

Gi Group UK are recruiting multiple 7.5T Drivers for our client in Maidstone (ME20). The role covers express road-based courier services including delivery and collection to customers and depots.

Shifts are Monday to Friday with occasional weekends; start times vary. Standard pay is £17.98 per hour with overtime at £23.43 per hour after 40 hours. PAYE includes advanced holiday pay and may vary with shift patterns.

Qualifications

• Good customer service skills
• 1 year experience with 7.5T roles
• No more than 6 penalty points; no DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsements

Drivers Shifts and Pay

Monday to Friday - occasional weekends offered

Hours of Work: 09:0am

£17.98/hr standard*

£23.43/hr OT (after 40hrs)*

7.5T Driver main duties will include

• Conducting vehicle checks
• Making 20 deliveries/collections each day to customers and depots
• Manual handling is involved while loading and unloading
• Handling device to confirm delivery status and communicate with the depot
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

Driver requirements

• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Good customer service skills
• Valid and in date Tachograph and CPC qualifications
• At least 1yr experience with 7.5T roles
