Job summary

Barker Ross Group are recruiting a 7.5T Driver for a busy operation in Newcastle-under-Lyme. This role is Monday to Friday with daytime hours and an immediate start, offering ongoing work and potential permanence.

Role includes around 15 drops per day with some afternoon collections; basic training is provided, and multi-drop experience is preferred so you can jump straight in.

Qualifications

• Valid UK CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 6 months' 7.5T driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• No T99, IN10 or DR10 endorsements on licence.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable and professional attitude.
• Comfortable with multi-drop deliveries and a physically demanding role.

Responsibilities

• Around 15 stops per day, with some afternoon collections.
• Busy, hands-on delivery role.
• Starter times: 08:00 to 18:00 depending on workload.
• Potential for permanent position.

Starting Monday 26th October - immediate start!

Barker Ross are currently looking for an experienced 7.5T Driver to join a busy operation in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for Monday to Friday work, daytime hours and the potential to secure a permanent position.

The role:

£17 per hour

Monday to Friday

08:00 starts with an expected 18:00 finish (some days may run later depending on workload)

Start date: Monday 26th October

Ongoing work with the potential to go permanent

Around 15 stops per day, with some collections in the afternoon

Busy, hands-on delivery role

Basic training provided, but you must be confident and ideally have multi-drop experience as we're looking for someone who can jump straight in.

You will need:

• Valid UK CPC and Digital Tacho Card
• Minimum 6 months' 7.5T driving experience
• No more than 6 points on your licence
