Job summary

Barker Ross Group is currently recruiting an experienced 7.5T Driver to join a busy operation in Newcastle-under-Lyme. The role is Monday to Friday with 08:00 starts and an expected 18:00 finish, delivering around 15 stops per day and some afternoon collections.

Starting Monday 26th October with an immediate start and ongoing work, there is potential to go permanent for the right candidate. A confident, hands-on driver with multi-drop experience is ideal.

Qualifications

• Valid UK CPC and Digital Tacho Card are required.
• Minimum 6 months' 7.5T driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence and no T99, IN10 or DR10 endorsements.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, reliable and professional.

Responsibilities

• Busy, hands-on delivery role with around 15 stops per day.
• Multi-drop deliveries and occasional collections in the afternoon.
• Start times from 08:00 with potential longer days depending on workload.

Barker Ross are currently looking for an experienced 7.5T Driver to join a busy operation in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for Monday to Friday work, daytime hours and the potential to secure a permanent position.

The role:

• £17 per hour
• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 starts with an expected 18:00 finish (some days may run later depending on workload)
• Start date: Monday 26th October
• Ongoing work with the potential to go permanent
• Around 15 stops per day, with some collections in the afternoon
• Busy, hands-on delivery role
• Basic training provided, but you must be confident and ideally have multi-drop experience as we're looking for someone who can jump straight in.

You will need:

• Valid UK CPC and Digital Tacho Card
