Job summary

Barker Ross Group is seeking an experienced 7.5T Driver for a busy operation in Newcastle-under-Lyme. The role is Monday to Friday, starting at 08:00 and finishing around 18:00 with potential overtime.

Around 15 drops per day and some collections, with a view to permanent placement for the right candidate. The position requires a valid UK CPC and Digital Tacho Card, at least 6 months' 7.5T experience, and a clean licence (no more than 6 points, no disqualifying endorsements).

Qualifications

• Valid UK CPC and Digital Tacho Card.
• Minimum 6 months' 7.5T driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• No T99, IN10 or DR10 endorsements on your licence.
• Good customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on delivery role with around 15 stops per day.
• Some afternoon collections and multi-drop work.
• Start immediately with potential to go permanent.

Starting Monday 26th October - immediate start!

Barker Ross are currently looking for an experienced 7.5T Driver to join a busy operation in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for Monday to Friday work, daytime hours and the potential to secure a permanent position.

The role:

• £17 per hour
• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 starts with an expected 18:00 finish (some days may run later depending on workload)
• Start date: Monday 26th October
• Ongoing work with the potential to go permanent
• Around 15 stops per day, with some collections in the afternoon
• Busy, hands-on delivery role
• Basic training provided, but you must be confident and ideally have multi-drop experience as we're looking for someone who can jump straight in.

You will need:

• Valid UK CPC and Digital Tacho Card
• Minimum 6 months' 7.5T driving experience
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No T99, IN10 or DR10 endorsements on your licence
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Reliable and professional attitude
• Comfortable with multi-drop deliveries and a physically demanding role
