Job summary

ManpowerGroup (UK) is recruiting for a 7.5t Driver in Glasgow. You will operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations, carry out daily vehicle checks, load/unload goods, and complete delivery paperwork.

You’ll work independently with a team, adhere to UK road transport regulations, and provide reliable, customer-focused service on varying shifts. Immediate start opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C1 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 5 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 2 years' 7.5t driving experience in a logistics or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Multiple drops per shift, depending on route assigned.
