Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking a reliable 7.5T Driver to join our team, ensuring timely collection and deliveries from customer sites while maintaining high service standards.

You will operate commercial vehicles, check safety before journeys, load/unload rental equipment, visit customer premises, and comply with safety and working time regulations. The role offers development opportunities and benefits under a real living wage employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum of driving license category C1 - with no more than 6 points.
• CPC Certified
• Tachograph card
• Proactive approach to safety of company vehicles and other drivers
• A polite manner at all times when visiting customer premises
• Good geographical knowledge and Industry experience (desirable)
• Ability to use IT systems (desirable)
• FORS compliant (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Operating commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before journeys, as well as loading, unloading and securing the load
• Load and unload rental, electrical and powered access equipment including heavy plant
• Visiting customer locations and communicating with internal and external customers

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing business. We are looking for a talented 7.5T Driver to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

What will you be doing?

• Operating commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
• Load and unload rental, electrical and powered access equipment including heavy plant
• Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all time
