Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals Careers is seeking an Attachments Technician to join our growing plant division. You will ensure plant equipment is maintained to the highest standards, both in workshop and on site, and you will meet or exceed customer expectations.

The role involves inspecting equipment, performing service and repairs, carrying out minor structural work, and safely operating a 7.5 tonne vehicle to transport goods to customer locations.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Plant and Machinery Maintenance.
• CPC certification and Tachograph card required.
• Category C1 driving license with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Inspect plant equipment in workshop and on site.
• Service, repair and maintain key plant equipment in workshop and on site.
• Carry out minor structural repairs including use of abrasive wheels and welding equipment.
• Operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle to transport goods to customer locations.
• Ensure all equipment remains clean, functional and compliant.

About The Role

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing plant division? We are looking for a Attachments Technician to join our team to ensure our plant equipment is maintained to the highest standard whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

What will you be doing?

• Inspect of plant equipment in workshop and on site
• Service, repair and maintenance of key plant equipment in workshop and on site
• Minor structural repairs including use of abrasive wheels and welding equipment
• Operating a 7.5 Tonne vehicle for the transportation of goods to customer locations
• Ensuring all equipment is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, functionality and compliance

About You

What are we looking for?

Requirements

• Minimum of category C1 driving license – with no more than 6 points
• CPC Certified
• Tachograph card
• Team player, supporting your colleagues
• Self-motivated and a flexible approach to the working environment
• Experience of basic inspections, fault finding, and repairs is desirable, however full training is available
• NVQ Level 2in Plant and Machinery Maintenance.
