Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are seeking 7.5 tonne drivers for a temp-to-perm role in Warrington. You will handle deliveries and collections, with manual handling and device-based status updates as part of daily duties.

Ideal candidates hold a 7.5 tonne entitlement, DCPC and Tachograph, and have up to six points. Strong communication and safety focus are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Full UK licence with 7.5 tonne entitlement (CAT C1).
• DCPC and Digital Tachograph card valid.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Knowledge of WTD legislation.

• Handling devices and company software to update delivery statuses.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring road worthiness and compliance with company standards.
• Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.
• Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Warrington area. We are looking for multiple 7.5 Tonne drivers to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30am starts

Pay Rates: £16.05 PAYE Per Hour

Location: Warrington, WA4

Job Type: Temp to perm

The role:

Requirements:

• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
