Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are currently seeking multiple 7.5 Tonne drivers for our client in Warrington, WA4. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers a Monday to Friday roster with starts at 07:30.

Pay is £16.05 PAYE per hour. You will deliver and collect parcels, handle loading/unloading, use devices to update statuses, and perform pre-/post-trip checks to ensure vehicle and road safety.

Qualifications

• Full UK licence with 7.5 tonne entitlement (CAT C1).
• 1 year experience required.
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.

Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30am starts

The role:

• Deliveries and collections
• Manual handling heavily involved including loading and unloading parcels at depots and customer locations.
• Handling devices and company software to update delivery statuses
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring road worthiness and compliance with company standards.
• Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.
• Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.

Requirements:

• Full UK licence with 7.5 tonne entitlement (CAT C1)
• 1 year experience required
