Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd is seeking experienced 7.5 Tonne drivers to join our team in Warrington. You will handle deliveries and collections, load and unload parcels, and work closely with dispatch to ensure on-time service.

The role requires a valid UK CAT C1 licence, 1 year of driving experience, DCPC and Tachograph card, and compliance with WTD. A safety-first mindset and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK licence with 7.5t entitlement (CAT C1).
• DCPC and Digital Tachograph card valid.
• No more than 6 points on licence.

Job description

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Warrington area. We are looking for multiple 7.5 Tonne drivers to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30am starts

Pay Rates: £16.05 PAYE Per Hour

Location: Warrington, WA4

Job Type: Temp to perm

The role:

• Deliveries and collections
• Manual handling heavily involved including loading and unloading parcels at depots and customer locations.
• Handling devices and company software to update delivery statuses
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring road worthiness and compliance with company standards.
• Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.
• Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.

Requirements:

• Full UK licence with 7.5 tonne entitlement (CAT C1)
• 1 year experience required
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
