Job summary

GI Group are recruiting multiple 7.5T Drivers for our international client in Swindon (SN4). This role involves daily deliveries and collections to customers and depots, with manual handling during loading and unloading.

You will conduct vehicle checks, adhere to tachograph and CPC requirements, and ensure timely workload management. Shift pattern is Monday to Friday with occasional weekends; hours typically start around 09:00.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering goods by road.
• Good knowledge of UK road network and safety rules.
• Ability to handle manual loading/unloading.

Responsibilities

GI Group are currently recruiting multiple 7.5T Drivers for our internationally known client in Swindon (SN4). This company provides courier services worldwide, focusing on the express road-based market and offering services such as delivery, freight forwarding, and logistics.

Drivers shifts and Pay:

Monday to Friday - occasional weekends offered

Hours of Work: 09:00am

*Please note that this pay rate is PAYE and includes advanced holiday pay

7.5T Driver main duties will include:

Conducting vehicle checks

Making deliveries/collections each day to customers and depots

Manual handling is involved while loading and unloading

Handling device to confirm delivery status and communicate with the depot

Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

Driver requirements:

No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes

Valid and in date Tachograph and CPC qualifications

New passes are accepted but require an assessment
