Job summary

Rutherford Cross is assisting a business on the outskirts of Glasgow to recruit an Assistant Accountant for an initial 6-month period. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar role, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Part-Qualified or 'Qualified by Experience' Accountant.
• Available at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring financial records remain accurate and up to date.
• Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations.
• Supporting external audit requirements and responding to information requests.
• Assisting with month-end close processes and other ad hoc finance activities as required.
• Providing ad hoc support across the finance function.
