Job summary

Avidity in Glasgow is seeking a Finance Assistant to join the team on a 6-month fixed term contract with hybrid working. The role supports month-end journals, cashbooks, reconciliations, and expense processing, contributing to smooth financial operations across the group.

You should have experience in similar roles, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with ledgers such as NetSuite, SAP or Xero. The package includes a salary up to £27,000 per year plus benefits and a commitment to flexible

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role handling financial ledgers and journals.
• Comfortable with debits and credits and strong Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process month-end journals.
• Complete weekly cashbooks on NetSuite and prepare bank reconciliations.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Collaborate with HR and Client Teams; manage manual banking payments as required.
• Assist with processing of monthly expenses and the expenses mailbox.
• Support preparation work for year end and audits.
