Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a multiskilled maintenance engineer for Severnside site on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days and 2 nights). The role involves safe, reactive maintenance and rapid return to service for plant equipment.

You will lead fault diagnosis, drive root-cause analysis, and implement cost-effective improvements. You will support audits and coach operators as part of a high-performing team in a UK manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering apprenticeship completed.
• Experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong diagnostic and problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, front-line reactive maintenance and get equipment back into service quickly.
• Diagnose faults and repair mechanical/electrical systems.
• Lead shift-based problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Identify and implement cost-effective improvements to boost efficiency and reliability.
• Support audits, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coach operators on asset care tasks and collaborate as part of a high-performing team.
