Job summary

MorePeople is seeking a highly capable Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a high-volume manufacturing site in North Northamptonshire. The role focuses on fault-finding across mechanical and electrical systems and keeping automated production equipment running smoothly.

You'll work a 4 on/4 off rotation (days and nights) and have the chance to participate in fabrication and workshop-based work. NVQ3/ONC/BTEC Level 3 or equivalent is expected, with a proactive approach to reliability and

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3, ONC, BTEC Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification.
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills.
• Proven industrial fault-finding experience.
• Experience maintaining automated production machinery.
• Experience working with conveyors, motors, pumps, sensors and associated equipment.
• Planned and preventative maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Fault-find across mechanical and electrical systems to keep automated production equipment running.
• Support maintenance planning and spares control to minimise downtime.
• Engage in practical engineering projects, fabrication, welding and workshop-based work.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and reliability of manufacturing equipment.
